Precision in every bean.
How we met
After visiting Ponganes Coffee Roasters in Chiang Mai, we were introduced to Mana Coffee. The flavours of their Pongnok natural stood out immediately, and we wanted to learn more.
The region
Chiang Mai has played a central role in the growth of Thailand's coffee scene. Over the past few decades, small producers in the surrounding mountains have moved away from commodity crops toward specialty coffee. With altitude, shade-grown farms, and a strong community of growers, the region has become one of the country's most respected coffee hubs — roasters like Ponganes helped put it on the map by focusing on quality and traceability long before it became standard.
What makes it distinct
Mana focuses on coffee grown at lower elevations, a part of the industry that often gets overlooked. Their strength is in careful post-harvest processing — year after year, they bring out clean, vibrant flavours with real consistency.
Mae Hong Son, a quiet village in the far north near the Myanmar border, has been a key part of our Houseblend. This washed process coffee, dried in parchment, has a mellow, nutty character — soft sweetness, low acidity, smooth and balanced. Something you can drink any time of day.
Why we keep working with them
Before we started working with them in 2018, Mana Coffee was already exporting Thai specialty coffee to Europe. We're proud to keep part of that work here, and share it with the community on Koh Phangan.
