Bubba’s opened its doors late 2015 to craft delicious brunch and coffees for Koh Phangan.
We believe that to make the best brunch in Koh Phangan it is vital to work with the best products and people available. Bubba’s coffee is the sum of the high quality ingredients, passionate suppliers and a dedicated team to make this all come together. We choose to work with experienced individuals, ethically like-minded suppliers and select our products not based on price but rather quality.
Our sourdough breads are baked locally on Koh Phangan by French bakery and delivered daily. For both our Koh Phangan cafe’s we use free range eggs from Khao Yao national park but also a local Koh Phangan chicken farm where the eggs from the morning are delivered the same day. Chiang Rai Cheese produces excellent quality cheese made from milk that comes from local corn fed cows. We use their cheese in our dishes and have a small retail selection available at our Bubba’s Coffee Baan Tai location.
Recently (early 2021) we changed our meat supplier and started working with Sloane’s from Bangkok who supply to Michelin starred restaurant Bo.Lan in Bangkok. You will find their smoked bacon, Paris ham, chorizo, pastrami and sausages available at both Bubba’s coffee Baan Tai and Bubba’s Roastery Haad Yao
Whether you are a vegan, vegetarian or enjoy meat, our menu will have something to please your appetite.
Early 2018 Bubba’s had the opportunity to branch out to the other side of Koh Phangan (Haad Yao) to further focus on the sourcing and roasting of Thai speciality coffee.
Since then we have made lifelong friends in the coffee industry and are very proud to have some renowned and prized coffee farms in our assortment. The coffee growing regions we focus on are Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Tak, which we visit yearly, before and during the coffee harvest. We now not only roast and deliver coffee for our cafe’s and customers but teach, train and assist other businesses in Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao.
