Tha Song Yang Natural:
Tha Song Yang district in Tak province is located close to the more known coffee region Omkoi. Tha Song Yang is located in the mountains that border Burma and is famous for producing excellent coffees.
We met Chang Plao at in Bangkok at Thailand coffee fest in 2016, where he was showcasing his award winning coffee to the visitors of the festival. We were intrigued by his story, vision and passion for coffee that we decided to visit his family & coffee operation later the same year.
Since our first meeting our coffee friendship has grown a lot and we are very proud to have his coffee at our roastery.
For Chang Plao’s Natural process, after harvest, the cherries are transferred to the processing station in Mae Tuen. With the fruit still on the cherry, they are laid out on elevated drying beds for 3-6 weeks or until moisture content percentage reaches 11%. This style of processing is known to bring out beautiful sweet red fruit flavours!
Coffee is packed in individual 225g coffee bags with valve.
